Yamaha Powder Paper

Eliminate sticky pads for good!

Each pack contains 50 sheets of thin paper coated on one side with a very fine powder. Use regularly on problem pads in order to prevent stickiness and improve key response.

How to use

Take one of the powder papers and place it with the powder-covered side facing the tone hole. If you are having trouble reaching a particular tone hole, you may need to use scissors to cut the paper down to a smaller size. Once the paper is in position over the tone hole, shut the key a few times to deposit a small amount of powder onto the tone hole rim. This will help dry up any sticky residue that has built up and stop the pad from sticking.
